And some nice pictures from a nintendo DS legend (not that it has anything to do with the NDS)

Some lovely presentation of stats. Check out gapminder.org as well to see some of the other stuff Hans Rosling has done.

I’m very interested in the idea of a story generator. Shame the code is now lost.

Since FF and IE are part of the build process, it’s more convenient for me to use Opera at work. I’d be shirking my responsibility to the web if I didn’t have some delicious buttons in my main browser.

I like the presentation from Hans Rosling. Thanks for the link.
The statistics he uses are pretty basic, but the presentation is brilliant.
The software seems to be just perfectly designed for his exceptional show. Something you see not very often.
No wonder that google bought his Trendalyzer tool.

Yeah, it’s really cool. I didn’t realise that he was the guy behind Trendanalyzer.
I’ve been thinking a bit about better presentations recently (had some good chats with roo, and also been reading a book where powerpoint slides are used to literally eat peoples souls) and that one is very good, even though it’s quite traditional. It’s the tool that makes it.
